Synopsis
For millions of people, November 11, 1918 marks a new beginning.
Peace has transformed Europe into a laboratory where new ideas, hopes and societal projects are experienced. From there arises a living, contradictory and thrilling epoch, the genesis of the world in which we live today.
The series will tell how and why, in the space of 21 years, mentalities have changed to the point of opening the way to dictatorships, violent discrimination of minorities and even a new war.
