Synopsis

In the Andes' mountains of southern Colombia, a village devastated by guerrillas and drug traffickers has managed to extract and trade in gold. This rare and precious metal is mined completely by hand and in an ecologically sensitive way. A documentary exploring how this fragile community has succeed in forging a future, where they can continue to trade in this precious metal, retain their indigenous values and keep the necessary «Fair-trade» label.
